Enduser Enrollment
To aid in the process of getting started with 1Password, a new AD3 Managed Group has already been setup for each CAES Department that gives the department IT Lead/Manager the ability to onboard their users to the service via uInform Group Management [1].
Once a user is added to the AD3 Managed Group, and the change is synced to 1Password, the user will receive an invitation email from 1Password to activate their account.
Vault Management
1Password Vault permissions are controlled using 1Password Groups named "CAES-<DEPT>: <Use Case>".
- These 1Password Groups are managed via https://ucdavis.1password.com (under the "Groups" menu option on the right-side) [1]
Please submit a CAES - 1Password Vault or Group Request if you need any of the following:
- Create a new 1Password Vault
- Create a new 1Password Group [2]
- Share a 1Password Vault with a 1Password Group
